Not that Californication is a particularly good show or anything, but this tirade by Hank Moody really struck a chord. It seems that, with the rapid progression of technology, people (especially those who, unlike me, are ‘true digital natives’ ) are forgetting to attach any sort of important to how/why they write. And so while I may use the occasional acronym, I promise to keep my T-Log clean and well-written.
There’s a documentary playing at the Bloor Cinema about the Eames (husband and wife) that I want to go see tomorrow. It reminded me of this neat (and somewhat controversial?) video about the Eames House, featuring Ice Cube.
Alex Roman’s short film The Third and the Seventh is a beautiful example of modern-day craftsmanship. Everything in the movie is CGI, which is quite a feat given how realistic (hyper-realistic?) the images look. Roman provides a unique new look at some amazing modern architecture (Kahn’s Exeter Library, anyone?).
